Drop off your Tic-Tac-Toe cards, Books Reviews, and ballots at the Library
Get those Tic-Tac-Toe cards and Book Reviews in!
(And those Special Election ballots!)
To qualify for the Grand Prize Drawings of a Kindle Paperwhite (sorry, the Touch is no longer available) and a Dinner and a Movie ($75 gift certificate to Abella Italian Kitchen and $25 gift card to Regal Cinemas), turn in your completed Tic-Tac-Toe cards by 8 p.m. next Monday, March 11.
For those readers who want to share their thoughts (or feel like reading 3 books is just too much pressure), you can write a Book Review and turn that in for a separate drawing for $25 Barnes and Noble gift cards.
But hurry up! Time is almost out!
For more information, see the Adult Winter Reading Program page on the Library website.
Just in time for the rain!
The Adult Winter Reading Program returns for a 2nd year with “Reading in a Winter Wonderland“. Read books and get entered to win prizes, including a Kindle Touch and a “Dinner and a Movie” (valued at $100).
It’s easy to enter! Starting Monday, January 7, pick up a Tic-Tac-Toe card or Book Review form at the Library OR download them from our website. Turn in the completed forms by Monday, March 11, for entry in to the prize drawings.
Is there a better way to spend the cold drizzly days here than with a book? (I mean, if you can’t make it to Hawaii and read on a sandy beach, at any rate.)
Find out more on the Adult Winter Reading Program page.
That’s right. You have exactly 4 days to turn in your completed Tic-Tac-Toe Card and Book Log for entry into the grand prize drawing featuring a Kindle Touch and a Wilsonville Gift Basket.
Okay, I think it’s four days. Maybe it’s five. I can never figure out how to count the days right. Either way, make sure to turn in your cards by 8 p.m. on Monday, March 12th.
And if you haven’t seen it, Kallen Kentner wrote a fun and inspiring “thank you” to the Adult Winter Reading Program in this week’s Wilsonville Spokesman. If you have a subscription to the Spokesman , you’ll still have to log in to view the entire article. However, copies are available at the Library in our newspaper section to read at your leisure.
Don’t have enough time to make the Adult Winter Reading Program deadline? Don’t fret! You have three months until the Adult Summer Reading Program starts in June.
Which means three months to get your reading lists ready . . .
