Join us at the Wilsonville Festival of Arts this weekend (6/1-2)

Reading is an art, right?

It’s that time again! Join us, the Friends of the Wilsonville Library, and the Wilsonville Public Library Foundation at this year’s Wilsonville Festival of Arts. The Friends will have door prizes and special coupons for their Bookstore (Sssh! Don’t tell anyone that I told you!), and the Foundation will have information for local artists about the art display options available at the Library.

The Festival will be held at Town Center Park (next to the Visitor’s Center) on Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2. Come check it out!

Lego Robotics at the library Saturday, Nov. 19

Robotics teams from the Wilsonville area of all levels (High School robotics, Middle and Primary school Lego robotics, and Junior Lego teams) will be demonstrating their robots and research on Saturday, November 19th, from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

If you are interested in learning more about the future of robots in science, technology and engineering, please attend. All ages are welcome.

March with the Library this Saturday, June 4, at the Wilsonville Festival of Arts parade

Wilsonville Festival of Arts 2011Grab your cowboy hat, stick horse, and a drum (a yogurt container will do nicely), and join the Children’s Library staff in the Wilsonville Festival of Arts parade this Saturday, June 4. This year’s theme is “Hoof Beats.”

Robotics at the Library!

Robotics teams from Wilsonville will be demonstrating their robots and research at the Library on Saturday, November 20, 2010, from 12-3 p.m. Teams from all levels (High School robotics, Middle and Primary school Lego robotics, and Junior Lego teams) will be showing their projects.

If you are interested in learning more about the future of robots in science, technology and engineering, as well as an exciting opportunity for K-12 students, please attend. All ages are welcome.
