Every month on our Art Display wall (the wall behind the New Books), we feature artwork by a different local artist. August’s Artist of the Month is Josh Kulla. You may recognize his name from the Wilsonville Spokesman, but take a look at his photographs.
Want to know more about Josh? Here he is in his own words:
I’m something of a familiar face to some of you here in Wilsonville. As a photographer and editor for the Pamplin Media Group, I primarily work during the day (and some evenings) with the Wilsonville Spokesman, along with the West Linn Tidings and Lake Oswego Review. But when I’m able to, I get away and try my best to capture the amazing range of natural beauty we are blessed with here in Oregon. From the waterfalls, streams and lava flows of the Columbia River Gorge to the deserts, mountains and ghost towns of Central Oregon, not to mention the Pacific Coast, Oregon just about has it all in terms of climate and scenery. I’ve photographed landscapes in Oregon and Washington for a little over a year now, and I’m just getting started on a long and fruitful journey with my Nikon.
