Mango is a free online learning center where you can learn practical conversation skills for over 30 different languages – all from the comfort of home. No textbooks, no performing in front of others. Just you and your computer and simple, structured courses that walk you through the maze of learning a new language.

You can use Mango anonymously, or you can register. Registration is free and simple. Once you have registered, Mango will keep track of your progress through the courses. Not sure where you left off with Italian? Mango will take you there.

How do you start? In just three easy steps:

  1. Visit the online databases page. You will need a LINCC (Clackamas County) library card in order to use this software.
  2. Click on “Mango Languages”
  3. Start learning!
